“Unforgettable wedding!” September – 2008 - Las Vegas, Nevada Casa Schuck & Penzi
When my husband and I decided to get married in San Miguel de Allende we knew that we wanted to stay at a hotel that captured the colonial feel of this beautiful town. After much searching we discovered Casa Schuck. Casa Schuck is even more gorgeous in person than photos from the website. The rooms, the landscaping, and the views are truly incredible. From the moment we arrived the staff was very friendly and professional. The customer service at Casa Schuck is beyond compare. Penzi also was amazing, they catered our affair and it was perfection! When my husband’s sibling’s luggage, with all of their clothes, went missing at the Leon airport, Alicia (one of Casa Schuck’s managers) was immediately on the phone with the airport tracking down the luggage. Later that same night the luggage appeared via chauffeur! Casa Schuck with its traditional colonial architecture and design made it the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Susan and Chuck Schuck were especially helpful from the very beginning of our planning to the actual day of. All of our guests from the United States, as well our family that lives in San Miguel de Allende, had an amazing time and are still talking about Casa Schuck and how beautiful it was.

“A Wedding success!” San Francisco, 2008 Casa Schuck & Penzi
We have just come back from Mexico after having a destination wedding at Casa Schuck. If you are the type of person that wants an easy-to-plan wedding, a destination wedding at Casa Schuck is for you. Susan Cordelli, owner of Casa Schuck did the wedding planning and Guadalupe Alvarez of Penzi did all the rest..catering, flowers, etc. Between the 2 of them, they helped me organize the most amazing wedding. Casa Schuck is gorgeous and even if we did nothing but sit around all weekend, that would have been fine by me and our 66 happy guests. Susan, her husband Chuck, the Casa Schuck staff, Guadalupe and our photographer Holly Wilmeth are wonderful people to work with. They were super fun to have at your wedding, making sure that you and your guests have a good time. We also had a great food experience at the restaurants Bugambilia and The Restaurant, both coming highly recommended. April is a great month to be in SM, with the gorgeous jacaranda trees in bloom. How much of my successful wedding was
because of Casa Schuck? A HUGE part!

“Wedding of our dreams! 2008 ” Casa Schuck & Penzi
My husband and I were always interested in a destination wedding, but the usual "beach" destination wedding didn't really appeal to us. We wanted something different, and to offer our guests a truly unique experience. And thanks to a friend’s suggestion, we found both of these things (and more) with our wedding at Casa Schuck. Susan was extremely helpful, and her vendor suggestions were spot-on. It really was like having your own wedding planner! We worked with Penzi for catering, flowers, and so much more. Guadalupe and her staff were a joy to work with and extremely professional. They also provided what has to be the highlight of the wedding - Benito the Tequila Donkey! If you don't know what a tequila donkey is, that's ok. I didn't either... Get the tequila donkey! Benito was an absolute hit. And I can't say enough about the staff at Casa Schuck. Alicia is a gem. I don't know what we would have been able to do without her. Alfredo, the night manager, was so nice and made everyone feel taken care of. Guillermo is great, too—very professional, and always willing to help. After five days at Casa Schuck, they all began to feel like family. Thanks to the beauty of San Miguel, and the great staff at Casa Schuck, we truly had the wedding of our dreams.

"Perfect Thanksgiving Wedding at Casa Schuck with Penzi 2007 !"
My husband and I had our wedding at Casa Schuck and our rehearsal dinner at their sister property Casa Cordelli, and it was the most magical weekend we could have ever imagined. We reserved all the rooms at both properties for our guests, and people were blown away by the beauty and service. My husband afterward asked me whether our wedding was everything I dreamed of, and I told him that I never imagined it would include a donkey pulling a tequila cart, a mariachi band leading a parade through the streets, 14-foot-tall paper mache people or a fireworks display. We had it all! Nearly every one of my guests told me it was the best wedding they ever attended, and they all were so tickled to be exposed to romantic San Miguel. Schuck and Cordelli are BEAUTIFUL places for a wedding or just a unique vacation spot. The rooms are gorgeous, and the staff is beyond incredible in their eagerness to help. Owners Chuck and Susan and managers Guillermo and Alicia took care of all our guests' every need and always did it with a smile – from arranging massages, recommending places to see or babysitting during our ceremony. I really felt like they were family by the time we left. The breakfasts at Schuck are really delicious -- with a full menu of hot, made to order dishes. Everyone raved about them. The place is filled with gorgeous flowers, furnishings and bright colors. You are romanced by the sounds of soft music they have playing in the courtyard, the fountain running in the pool and the bells of churches that can be heard ringing throughout San Miguel. If you are thinking of having a wedding in San Miguel, this is the place. And please feel free to contact me if you are considering it -- I'll share photos and tips of what worked for us and what didn't. Casa Schuck has a more intimate and formal feel, while Casa Cordelli is larger, with sweeping views and a great heated pool where my guests would spend their days relaxing together. We picked these properties based on what we found online, site unseen, and it was everything we hoped for. Susan acted as our coordinator and brought in the best vendors -- Guadalupe Alvarez at Los Secretos was the perfect caterer and designed a beautiful setting for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Listen to their suggestions -- they know about to make a fun and unique party that your guests will never forget! My husband and I plan
to return to Casa Schuck and San Miguel as often as we can. Nedra & Eric, Washington, DC
